  • Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:
I am a very family oriented person. I grew up an only child but spent lots of time with my cousins who have become the siblings I never had. Despite my family ties, I would be very happy to relocate for the right person.
  • How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:
I always thought I was a Christian because I grew up in a Christian family; I went to church, prayed, read the bible and listened to praise and worship music. I thought being a Christian just meant believing that God existed and doing all the above. There was never really a deep interest in the things of God. I never thought I wanted to know more. When I was 27 my eyes started to open and I started to question what I was seeing and hearing in my Charismatic church. I eventually left and started to attend a Reformed Baptist church. It was then I started to understand my urgent need for salvation so I started to ask God to forgive me my sins. I knew I hadn't been saved because nothing had changed inside because I didn't want to be saved, I wanted to continue living a life of sin. But one day, that change came. And God being so rich in mercy and full of grace heard my honest cry to Him, forgave me my sins and made me one of his elect. I am a sinner saved my grace!
  • How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:
The Doctrines of Grace have shaped my understanding of the Gospel, they have revealed to me a side of God's Word I never knew existed. It amazes me how a holy God would send his Son that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life! The thought that God would save a sinner like me not because of any good works I have done, not because of something good I would later do, but purely because of His sovereign grace is a very humbling thought. I thank God for turning my heart of stone to a heart of flesh.
  • Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:
My "quiet time" is in the morning. I study the scriptures using a devotional called Tabletalk. I am also reading a different genre of the bible each day.
  • Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?:
Paul is my favourite character! His story is a story of redemption in Christ and a testimony that no one is beyond the saving grace of our Lord. His Epistles are also my favourite books in the bible as they have taught me so much about God's sovereignty.
  • Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:
I have learnt to be content because whether married or single, our call is to glorify God. I do however desire marriage as marriage is a beautiful and precious gift from God.
  • What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:
    Considerate Calm Loving Diligent
  • Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?:
I desire to be with a Godly partner who bears the fruit of the Spirit. Someone who will run this race of endurance with me and will guide me towards the paths of righteousness. A man who loves the Lord more than he loves me. A leader who will protect me and any future children. Someone I can call my partner in life who is kind, considerate and loving.
  • Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:
My auntie! As a second mother her prayer was always that I would know the Lord as my saviour. She has taught me so much about God and life and it was through God's providence that she introduced the church that I attend.
  • What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?:
My previous relationship ended because he was not a Christian. It was also a relationship which did not glorify God. He became my idol and I knew I had to end it.
  • How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?:
It wasn't difficult getting through the break up because of the reason why I ended the relationship.
  • Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:
"What patience would wait as we constantly roam? What father, so tender, is calling us home? He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor. Our sins they are many, his mercy is more." "Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honourable use and another for dishonourable use?" Romans 9:21
  • What type of work do/did you do?:
I am a primary school teacher.
  • How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:
I have taught for 6 years and love my job! It comes with many challenges but it's an honour to educate and nurture young minds.
  • Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:
My life long goal is to marry a man after God's heart who will be unified with me in raising God-fearing children in the midst of a sinful world that is so far removed from the things of God.
