  • My view on drinking:
I don't drink, but don't mind others drinking in moderation
  • On the subject of children:
I would like to have children one day, AND/OR would gladly accept others
  • Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:
I am the only Christian in my family. And if God is willing, I'd go anywhere He wanted me to go (which presupposes there would be a sound, staunchly Reformed church in whichever location that happened to be).
  • How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:
God brought me to faith, and called out of rank agnosticism and drug abuse, in 2006 - at age 20. My walk has been a rocky one. There is no doubt I have some life long spiritual scars. Yet God has remained faithful through it all; and I'm elated to say that He has me in a stable place and is conforming me more and more each day to the image of His Son - my Savior - Jesus Christ.
  • How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:
By His grace, just six months after He saved me, He directed me into a strongly Reformed Presbyterian church. I was reared up under some of the most sound, thoroughly Reformed preaching you could ever find. Even through all the struggles, His sovereign power has preserved me. There is no doubt that God has predestined the end from the beginning, and nothing can ever thwart His eternal decree.
  • Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:
By His grace, every morning I am able to get into His word over a cup (or two) of coffee. My mornings, fellowshipping with Him - coupled with corporate worship and gathering together with other believers - are the foundation that keeps me on the straight and narrow path.
  • Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?:
Given some arduous prodigal son experiences myself, I relate to king David the most. I could not reconcile the shame I feel over dishonoring God's glory and despising the goodness of the Lord, if not for my trust in God's supreme power and absolute sovereign providence - and the promise that all things truly do work together for good to those that love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Just like David, I've been I've been given solace that God can redeem even my most wretched sinfulness and use it to prepare and refine me in such a way that I will be able to relate to others - in a way not otherwise possible, except through my failure - who have gone through similar struggles.
  • Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:
I try to be. But at 34, having never been married, it is easy to feel lonely. And I feel guilty over the times when I do. As I know that my ultimate fulfillment must be in Jesus Christ. Yet it is not good for man to be alone, Scripture says (but I also understand that God is pleased to keep some believers single). That being said, I greatly desire to be a faithful husband and to raise covenant children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
  • What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:
    Appreciative, goofy/outgoing, considerate, and assertive.
  • What are three things you are most thankful for?:
God's unchanging attributes and inestimable glory, my salvation, and my sobermindedness (in more ways than one). Was that four?
  • Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?:
A girl who loves the Lord more than I do. I want someone who isn't worried about the vanities of this world. A woman who is committed to what she stands for. Who will stand her ground when she is right. Yet also who is gentle, sweet, and caring; who notices the little things. A woman who desires closeness and affection as much as I do. A woman who is tender, and motherly, who will look after me emotionally and be sensitive to my vulnerabilities. More than anything, a partner who will stand with me in our cause for Christ - who will support me and always have my back; and who will be unified with me in raising biblical, principled, God fearing, Christ loving children even in the midst of a dark world that is falling ever faster.
  • Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:
My Pastor of over 10 years. He preached the whole counsel of God, saw me through thick and thin, and instilled in me a very conservative ideology.
  • What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?:
It was long distance. She lived in Australia. There were multiple factors.
  • How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?:
Things fell apart earlier this year. I have just been seeking God, trying to depend on Him and trust in His sovereign purpose.
  • Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners will be converted to You. Psalms 51:12‭-‬13 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5‭-‬8 Delight yourself in the Lord ; and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Romans 8:28‭-‬32 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. John 6:37‭-‬39 And there are many more blessed promises, but that will suffice.
  • What type of work do/did you do?:
I work at an answering service company. I've worked various telecommunications jobs and served tables at some upscale restaurants in my 20's.
  • Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:
My goal is to glorify God in whatever capacity He sees fit to use me in. If single, then single. If it's through raising a family, and rearing godly covenant children (and I hope it is), then that. I just want to trust Him and be faithful to Him in all the little things.
  • Where were you born and where have you traveled?:
Born in North idaho. Moved to Florida and back twice. Lived in Washington and various parts of northern and southern idaho as well (primarily Coeur d'Alene from 20 to 31).
  • How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?:
Watching documentaries or sports, playing basketball, educating myself on politics through alternative news sources, going to coffee shops, eating out, going to the various lakes, rivers, and mountains that north Idaho has to offer.
  • Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?:
Yeah, please excuse any typos. I hate typos, and adore good grammar.
  • O mnie:
I am a straightforward man. I despise passive aggression and pretentiousness. I am a strong advocate for the defense of the innocent. I believe men especially are called to defend those who can't defend themselves. I am boldly outspoken against the evils of this age, and I don't leave much need for someone to interpret the meaning of my words. I will stand for what's right even if no one is standing with me.

But i am also really outgoing, can be quite silly, i love laughing, and really love making other people laugh (harnessing my goofiness is a daily struggle). As unyielding as I am about serious things, i try to keep things fun and easy going. I will go out of my way to make sure someone feels comfortable and cared for. I am a caretaker by nature, and feel most at ease when others are at ease. Definitely over talking about myself though. Such things do not give me joy.
  • Moje zainteresowania:
Theology, politics, writing, reading, drinking coffee or tea, aspiring survivalist/prepper (still need to learn a whole lot, but I find it to be a worthy pursuit).
