Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

I wouldn’t have a problem relocating for the person God has clearly shown me is the one He’s sent into my life for me to enter into a covenant relationship of marriage with.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

27, and by the grace of God He has kept me in the faith up until now, teaching me everyday more and more about His faithful love and grace towards me, and teaching me to trust Him.

How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?

It has shown me how great of a sinner I am, and how great and gracious of a God is the Lord.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?

Yes. I strive to have my quiet time everyday. I am currently doing a deep dive on the book of Psalms. I read some portions of the Bible, then I read a Psalm and read my ESV Study Bible notes and then I read what my Tyndale Old Testament Commentary on the Psalms says about the specific Psalm I read for the day, and I love it! :p

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?

David. Because he was a man after God’s own heart, and he delighted in God. He truly did. I wish to have that intimate relationship with God as he did. I love how he opens his whole heart to God without reservations, and how real is his talk. He doesn’t try to cover his flaws or present himself to God as better than he is, no, he acknowledges he’s a total mess and that he’s lost without God, and he’s open about it. God was his most important love and delight. And I want that as well.

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

Friendly + kind.

What are three things you are most thankful for?

My salvation.
My family.
My friends.

Bonus: my health.

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

Kind and loving. Honest and loyal. Trustworthy. Empathic. Family-oriented. Intellectually curious.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

My grandma and my mentor Arturo. My grandma has shown me the clearest picture of what God’s grace look like, and my mentor Arturo has discipled me for 10 years and has poured a flood of love, grace, wisdom and knowledge that I could never repay in this lifetime. Both of them have immensely impacted my life and God has used them to shape me into the person that I am today.

Also R.C. Sproul, Tim Keller, C.S. Lewis, Michael Horton.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

Lack of self-awareness, insecurity and pride.

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

About a year and three months. One of the things that helped was to fix my eyes on Jesus. One of my mentors told me to fix my eyes on Jesus as He alone is my hope, my help and my healing, so I literally would repeat to myself all day, “Jesus is my hope, Jesus is my help, Jesus is my healing”, and meditating on how and why Jesus(and not my ex or any other thing) was my hope, help and healing, really helped.

Something else that helped was memorizing, meditating and praying Psalm 23.

Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?

simply to Thy cross I cling.” – Rock of Ages hymn

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.” – Ps 23:1

“Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” – The Godfather

“We were together, I forget the rest.” – Walt Whitman

“For how long? Until.” – Jim Rohn

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

About a year, and yes, I do!

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

– Achieve financial freedom by 45.
– Become a man who visibly demonstrates the comprehensive rule of God under the lordship of Jesus Christ in every area of his life.
– Marry a Christ-centered God-loving gospel-soaked grace-filled Spirit-filled prayer-warrior woman with whom I get to build a home and start a family that glorifies God.
– Own a profitable business
– Create a continuous stream of monthly passive income through different investments
