Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

My family met Jesus as Lord and Savior when I was nine years old. I started attending Sunday School, Sunday morning and afternoon Worship Services, Prayer Services, and as I learned the Scriptures I began to understand my need for salvation. But it wasn’t until eight years later that I accepted Jesus as Lord of my life.
Have no problem considering relocating.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

God allowed me to recognize my need for Him
and met him personally at the age of 17.
I have had to fight a lot with my weaknesses, weaknesses, diseases, sins,
but faithful is God who by His grace has sustained me up to this point.
Since August 1989 I was part of the membership of the Iglesia Bíblica del Señor Jesucristo (IBSJ) until 2014 when, due to geographical location issues, I became part of the Iglesia Baitista del Nuevo Pacto(IBNP) to date.

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?

My favorite character in the Bible is Queen Esther.
She was called for a special task, to save the people of Israel. Her uncle points out that perhaps to be used [by God], she had been taken there.
Esther 4:14 ” …and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?

Today I am very grateful that through the years I can see the service opportunities as a blessing from God, I am working in His Kingdom. It is my prayer to the Lord that if he opens doors for me to marriage it will be as an opportunity to continue glorifying Him through service.

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

– loyal
– love to christ
– love of teaching

What are three things you are most thankful for?

Know the Lord at an early age.
My family.
My friends.
My job as a teacher.

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

Impulsive, loves risk and opportunity, innovative, creative, perceptive, loves to have fun and make people happy.
I love to see a person whose Strengths include charismatic, aesthetic, hardworking, persistent problem solver, and innovative style.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

One of the pastors of the Biblical Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and his family.
They taught me to live the Christian life for the glory of God in all areas of our lives and not for men.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

That person was not interested in a marriage.

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

In our culture it is normal for children to stay at home until they get married, in my case, I have lived alone since 2013 because my entire family emigrated to the United States.

Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?

“The most valuable resource that all teachers have is each other. Without collaboration our growth is limited to our own perspectives” Robert John Meehan.

“You are where God wants you to be at this very moment. Every experience is part of His divine plan.”

I don´t think inside the box,
I don´t think outside the box,
I don´t even know where the box is! Scott Douglas Chase

“The person who has learned to read well is never dependent on living teachers to educate him” John Piper

“The more you read the more things you will know.
The more that you learned the more places you will go.” Dr. Seuss

“A key to growing as a teacher is to keep company mainly with teachers who uplift you, whose presence inspire you and whose dedication drives you” Robert John Meehan.

Psalm 126:5-6
New International Version
5 Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.

What type of work do/did you do?

I am a First Grade Teacher.

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

I have been a teacher for over 30 years, and in this profession there are moments of many delights: a smile, a hug, a lot of letters, photos, a voice of a big man who says: hello teacher !, which become unforgettable moments. There are also moments of sadness, misunderstanding and tears, when a parent attacks your teaching style, when a boss does not support you in a delicate situation, when a child falls from a bush (greetings to David Rincón and his parents Alberto and Raquel ). But after 30 years I can say with certainty that when we put our eyes on heaven and not on earth, the moments of joy far outweigh the moments of discouragement.

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

Just one: To glorify God with my life every single day.

Where were you born and where have you traveled?

I was born i Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

I have traveled many times to E.E.U.U. to differents states for more than 20 years and my hole family resides in Florida.

How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?

Usually i spend time with nature: Beach, walking in a mountain.
I love to visit open parks, Zoo, aquarium and any place with animals.

Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?

I dont think so.

About Me

God moves us along different paths, as we allow ourselves to be guided by Him. He moves us, uses us and changes us to that place where we will be useful for His kingdom. Many times staying in our comfort zone does not allow us to grow. It is beautiful how God always prepares our hearts to move us to where He wants to fulfill His plans in our lives, and in doing so this brings peace and joy to our hearts. Remembering that those who love God, all things work together for good is a refreshment in the midst of tribulations. God’s faithfulness never ceases.
