Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

I am distant from my family, but pray God brings reconciliation. Please pray for this and me too. I’d relocate if I thought God wanted.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

I was 5. My Christian walk is lousy, but I want to finish Praising God and with God being very pleased.

How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?

I am saved by God’s Grace, and I remind myself about this daily.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?

I daily study Psalms as well as a chapter out of the New Testament. I usually read the Old Testament too daily.

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?

I would usually say Abraham, because he believed God and His promises and I want to be like him and blessed like him. But the first thought that jumped in my mind was David. I might be because I have been reading the life of David, or I feel challenged and hope that after my fallen life where I sinned so much, I’ll love God.

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

I don’t believe this:

I hear: timid, very compassionate, doubting, they love me. Don’t know why.

What are three things you are most thankful for?

I’m alive! God is Good and gave us Jesus and eternal life. Jesus.

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

I love people who love God and others and perhaps risk their lives to preach the gospel or save lives or help the poor. I love honest people. I love humble people.

Mine: I am doubting daily God’s gospel and Jesus. I am greatly deceitful and self deceived. I say that because I look back and am astounded at my great selfishness and evil so that I rebelled against God often and during extended periods. I am hopeful in God though!

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

There was a pastor I knew about 15 years ago. We turned out to be not friends, but struggling with how I thought about him and what he said and did and also his teachings… That stands out to have influenced me a lot. I’ve moved around a lot in life, so I’m not really involved long enough with any particular person. I’ve had much better friends, and several great long term friends, but for some reason, he stood out as most influential in shaping my life afterwards when I first read the question. But the truth is probably that my closest friends are more influential. Strange. This is a topic raises a lot of questions.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

That is kind of private, but I’d probably tell people who asked me personally.

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

About 9 years. I kept praying that God would lead me back to her or to the right person. I kept hoping that God has a better plan, and believed perhaps that wasn’t the right time and person. I still think about her.

What type of work do/did you do?

I’ve done a variety of kinds of work. Low pay though.

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

I’ve had so many kinds of work. Much of the time, working was a necessity that I felt God wanted me to do… but I wonder why I was never highly paid.

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

Definitely go to heaven, and be a good disciple and grow as per Jude 20 to 24. I want to use my talents and myself to glorify God… just so God is pleased and I have the best finish.

Where were you born and where have you traveled?

Small island, part of Japan. I’ve traveled around the world. I’ve tried to tell people about Jesus as I felt led.

How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?

I try to exercise. I liked trying to concentrate on scripture and prayer. I used to like wilderness and camping, but this is difficult for me to enjoy nowadays.

Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?

Evangelism: I think evangelism and sharing the gospel and helping the poor has to be a priority in my life. I want to reach unreached people, and have tried to do this for many years. So I have envisioned being married to a woman and having a family that does this or at least helps me.

About Me

I’m thinking about marriage. But mostly right now seeking to do what God wants daily. I hope if I can marry, I marry a Godly woman who would work well with me and that we’d have a family that pleases Jesus.

My Interests

God, and enjoying and trusting God.
Recovering from injuries, restoration.

I am very much a Trump supporter.
