Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying? | Time in the Word is a must for everyday! I have met so many christians that simply refuse to make that a priority let claim to have a deep love for Jesus. I am perplexed—confused dare I say. No, reading the Bible does not guarantee your salvation, but if you really love Him, wouldn’t you want to hear what he has to say?
Usually I read some New and Old testament. Sometimes I’ll couple it with a book — reading Sinclair Ferguson’s “Man Overboard!” right now as I study Jonah. I HIGHLY recommend it! |
About Me | Hello there! I’m probably the only reformed human bean in the Pacific Northwest; hence, I am here in search of God’s will. What is most important for you to know about me is that my faith is EVERYTHING. Knowing Him more and more each day is the very purpose of my life — all else must be in submission to the pursuit of Christ. I’m a conservative, living in one of the most liberal cities in America—God’s plan not mine. My Myers-Briggs is an INFP/J. Learning is my favorite thing to do, so this quarantine has been a wonderful time to collect more books than I can possibly read in a year haha. I geek out on self-development, productivity, eating healthfully, and seek to be future minded (sheesh this guy sounds pretentious). |
