Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

Changes for me are not easy, but If the change is worth the sacrifice I will do it for sure. I believe God can change my heart and desires according to His will for me.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

I was 13 years old. My journey is interesting, but now I believe everything was needed in order for me to be the person I am and will be. I can describe my life now… stable, getting strong, aware of the complexities of humans, and the power the gospel has for saving, sanctifying, and restore us. We need the gospel as much as the first time we hear it. It is sad how many “Christians” are living in the church. We are in a spiritual crisis.

How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?

Greatly. I can see my life is not the same since I was exposed to that truth.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?

Yes! I like to walk. So while walking in the mornings (1 hour) I pray and listen to sermons.

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?

I am not sure. Good question, maybe Salomon because I relate with him, especially when he wrote ecclesiastes. He was such a deep thinker.

Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?

Yes I am. But I would love to have a best friend to grow with.

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

What are three things you are most thankful for?

My family

My friends

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

I enjoy genuine people, I don’t like people who over-spiritualized things in order to avoid difficult topics or keep themselves on the surface. I like deep conversations, people who like to think hard, people who question things and encourage me to think harder.

I like people who listen and are humble enough to keep learning over the years.

I am an introvert that thinks a lot! I sometimes need a balance though hehehe I consider myself sensitive, leaning towards depression instead of anger or rage. I am a perfectionist. I like to keep myself learning.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

Dead people like C. S. Lewis, I have recently being influenced by Jordan Peterson, I know he is not a believer but has challenged my thinking in many ways. I would also say, my best friend Michelle.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

He said he did not see me in a romantic way. I was just a friend to him.

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

Almost a year. I have been helped by my friends. Reading good books. Listening to podcast and sermons.

Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.” -C. S. Lewis
“A faith without some doubts is like a human body without any antibodies in it. People who blithely go through life too busy or indifferent to ask hard questions about why they believe as they do will find themselves defenseless against either the experience of tragedy or the probing questions of a smart skeptic. A person’s faith can collapse almost overnight if she has failed over the years to listen patiently to her own doubts, which should only be discarded after long reflection. Believers should acknowledge and wrestle with doubts — not only their own but their friends’ and neighbors’. It is no longer sufficient to hold beliefs just because you inherited them. Only if you struggle long and hard with objections to your faith will you be able to provide the grounds for your beliefs to skeptics, including yourself, that are plausible rather than ridiculous or offensive. And, just as important for our current situation, such a process will lead you, even after you come to a position of strong faith, to respect and understand those who doubt.” -Tim Keller

What type of work do/did you do?

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

Since 2016

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

I would like to write a book eventually.

Where were you born and where have you traveled?

I was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. I have been in many places here in Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, and Europe.

How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?

I like to work out. Have good conversations with friends. Watch movies, documentaries, or Tv. Shows. Sometimes I draw, read and write.

Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?
