I have been ok being single while raising my children. Now that they are grown and out of the house, I am ready to share my life with the person that God has for me.
  • What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:
Very kind, generous and caring. Willing to do whatever is requested of me. (Deb's friend Kalinda here- I know that everyone says they are kind and such, but I want to share a story about Deb. She doesn't know I am adding this. We all live in Virginia, and I was in California with my husband taking care of my father-in-laws estate as he had just passed. My 24 y.o. son was at my house taking care of our animals and fell very ill. Now mind you, this was in June of this year in the midst of Covid. I told Deb about my boy, and without being asked and without any hesitation, she got in her car and headed to my place- 45 minutes away- to fetch him and take him to the hospital, despite him having all the symptoms of Covid. He had already called for an ambulance, so she waited at the ER parking lot for hours (she could not get inside) in case he was not admitted and needed to be cared for. Deb gives her whole heart to whomever she cares about. She is truly amazing.)

My pastor from home, showed me the true love of Christ and what unconditional love was.
