I am possibly open to relocating. It would be a major decision, but I would seriously and prayerfully consider it.
  • How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:
I came to faith in Christ around the age of 16. I am faithfully following the Lord day by day, seeking Him in the daily study of His Word, communion with Him in prayer, and blessing and being blessed by fellowship and accountability with fellow believers.
  • How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:
The doctrines of grace are at the heart of the gospel. I was dead in sin, but Christ saved me from sin’s penalty and am now a new creation in Christ. God, in His mercy, chose me from before the foundation of the world, to be His child. Christ’s substitutionary death served as an atonement for my sins. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I was brought to life in Christ and am now empowered day by day to serve God in newness of life, bearing fruit for His glory and out of love for Him. By God’s preserving power He will keep me, and be with me, to the end, until He calls me home to be with Him in glory.
  • Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:
I am currently reading through a yearly Bible plan, and I love it. I am also, very slowly and carefully, studying the book of Romans, with the aid of several commentaries.
  • Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?:
There are so many examples, it it hard to choose. I do have a special appreciation for Moses and Joseph, as the Lord used them mightily, but first humbled them greatly, and brought them through many difficult circumstances which cast them wholly upon God and His mercy. Their faith was also tested through waiting on God for many years, but they persevered and are now examples of men of great faith, es evidenced by Hebrews 11.
  • Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:
I am seeking day by day to be fully satisfied with God, for He alone can satisfy our deepest needs, and He alone will never fail us. Nevertheless I do desire to marry, and am resting and trusting in God to provide, if that is His will, in His perfect time and in His way.
