Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

If it is Gods Will, we will relocate. However,  we are very established in our current city with an amazing biblically grounded church that is focused on the Great Commission  with a genuine loving body of believers!  So at this time, I would prefer not to relocate.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

I grew up attending a Baptist Church and a Christian School.  I memorized a lot of scripture.  I knew and believed in the Word of God, but that belief didn’t move to faith and trust in God (saving faith) until a few years ago.  I heard the biblical gospel presented and God opened up my eyes, Changed my heart of stone to a heart of flesh, and granted me faith in Him.  I read God’s Word and pray daily.  We listen to sermons online almost daily by R.C. Sproul, Voddie Baucham, and Paul Washer.  They have been very helpful and influential in my understanding of the scriptures and have helped me to disciple my children in biblical doctrines.

How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?

Understanding that it is all a work of God.  It is nothing that we can do.  God chose us before the foundation of the world.  God grants us saving faith in Him.  He sanctifies us.  Jesus bore the wrath of God on Himself; the wrath of God that I deserved.  He saved me from eternal conscious torment.  And as if that wasn’t enough, He then imputed His righteousness to me in position/standing before God.  That doesn’t mean we will never sin.  There is none righteous, no not one.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?

Yes. Reading through the Bible chronologically for the first time. Also going through R.C. Sprouls Foundations and Dust to Glory series.  I also listen to sermons often by Voddie Baucham and Paul Washer.  I am also listening to R.C. Sproul’s series on Romans and John.

Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?

I am content to be single if that is Gods Will. But He has recently placed a strong desire for marriage  in my heart.  I will trust Him and rest in Him to provide a husband for me and a father for His children in His perfect timing. I would like to find someone who I can become a help-meet to.  Someone to come along side me and help to disciple God’s children and teach them biblical doctrines.  Someone to wash me in the Word,  read and discuss scripture together, and pray together.  Someone who understands and has the desire to apply  the biblical roles of husband and wife.  Not perfection but direction.

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

Loving. Selfless. Gentle spirit.  Kind. Compassionate. Servant.  Patient.

What are three things you are most thankful for?

The Gospel –  Gods agape Love demonstrated to us on the cross and Christ’s imputed righteousness.  Gods Word.  My children – blessings from God. The church / body of believers that God has providentially placed us in.

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

Focused on the Gospel and Gods Word.  Committed the same way that Christ is committed to His children and His bride, the church, with Agape love.  Ability to lead And disciple a wife and family.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

I have several very close Christian friends who always point me to scripture.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

First, it was by God’s Providence.

My ex husband chose a life of drugs and infidelity even after I offered forgiveness and reconciliation. It wasn’t what I wanted but I rest and trust in God’s providence in our lives.  He is sovereign and He has a purpose through this.

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

I have been on my own since July 2014.  I read scripture, prayed, and trusted in the sovereignty of God knowing that He works all things together for good for His children.  I know that He has a plan through all of this.

Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?

“Before the Throne Of God above”

“Be Still My Soul”

“When I survey the Wondrous Cross”

What type of work do/did you do?

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

Where were you born and where have you traveled?

I was born in PA.

Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?
