Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

I would describe my family as broken, but “good”. My parents are divorced, but I love them both dearly and they love me. My extensive family has always been tightly knit as well. I currently live about two hours from my parents and at this particular point in my life (more importantly theirs) I would prefer to live closer to them. Living further apart would not be ideal. However, I’m not against relocating.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

I came to a saving faith at an incredibly young age. Since very young, there has never been a single doubt in my mind about who Christ was and what He did for me. Although I have failed throughout the years (and daily!) thank the Lord that my Savior does not fail me. I am striving harder to cling to my Bible these days. Being in the Word, in prayer, and getting involved in my church community are very important to me.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?

I do a daily devotional (right now I’m working through Hebrews) and I’m also spending 15 – 60 minutes daily in the Word, specifically my one year chronologial bible and usually whatever book my church is going through. I also try to read another book of choice and am currently reading “Gentle and Lowly” – phenomenal.

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?

Paul! Paul Paul Paul. I’m sure this is a cliched answer, but I would have love to have met the man. As someone who often feels incredibly convicted by their own flesh, I just would have loved to have talked with this guy about his own love for Christ and his struggles. Also Peter – mostly because I think I’d want someone a little less harsh after talking with Paul (at least that’s how I tend to read the two, haha).

Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?

Yes and no. God is so good. He has provided me with exactly what I have needed in this season, and although I have fought Him most every step of the way, He has shown me exactly why He has put me where I am currently. However, I do know that I still have a desire to be married. At this point, I figured I would put myself out there and see if anything happens. No harm, right? Otherwise, I am daily striving to be content in my current position. It is what it is.

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

Great listener/good advice. Caring/Kind. “Funny”. Easy going.

What are three things you are most thankful for?

Christ. Grace. Scripture.

But also

Nature. Hiking. The Office.

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

I am an easy going individual who is typically content just “doing whatever”. I adore adventure but can also bum at home on the couch. Tendencies are slightly more towards the introverted side, but I enjoy being around those that… I enjoy being around. Typically, I’m drawn to confident individuals tend to be more extroverted, but not “crazy/loud” extroverted. Sense of humor is great as well as the ability to just… banter socially.

The personality traits which I really am looking for is someone kind, caring, and patient/level-headed/calm.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

My brother. My brother is one of my greatest friends and mentor. He has continually pushed me towards Christ and has been a living example of what it truly means to die to oneself for the glory of Christ to shine through the process of our sanctification.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?

Favorite songs/hymns?! YASSS.

– And Can It Be That I Should Gain, Be Thou My Vision, It Is Well With My Soul, In Christ Alone, The Lord Is My Salvation, I Will Wait For You, His Mercy Is More, Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me, Taste and See (Psalm 34), Jesus Paid It All, Christ Is Mine Forevermore

What type of work do/did you do?

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

Where were you born and where have you traveled?

How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?

Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?

About Me

Genearl about me:

Describing myself begins with my foundation in Christ. I was raised Baptist, but my views have shifted to Reformed Baptist over the last few years. Often I feel inadequate in my theological knowledge, but strive to learn more day by day. I’m just searching for someone who loves Christ and feels the same. A few things about myself…

* Love traveling and nature. Hiking, foraging, and being out in God’s creation is the absolute best.* Raised country, and a bit nerdy. I enjoy LOTR, Narnia, and many other popular fantasy-esque lores (and anime…).

* I truly enjoy the simple things in life, and I consider myself to be a simple person (if you’re looking for your manic-pixie-daydream girl, I’m not her).

* Friendship is a necessity. I’m looking to marry my best friend. Don’t be afraid to shoot me a message! Let’s be friends. Tell me about your favorite character from Avatar: the Last Airbender (and if you haven’t watched it yet – let me convince you to) or your favorite battle in the LOTR Trilogy (mine is Helm’s Deep).

* As a last point, I should also mention that I personally do not have a desire to have children. It’s not completely off the table, and if you already have kids that may also be a different story, but if you are looking for someone whose desire is to be a mother of five, probably not me, haha…

The most important thing I’m looking for in a person is a God-fearing man who loves Christ and is dying daily to himself for the glory of God.
