|Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?||
One brother and a sister. So much to say here! I’ll get back to this later
|How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?||
I grew up in a small town presbyterian church that became progressively more liberal during my youth. Both of my parents are nominal believers and strived to raise a Christian family but clearly struggled with their faith.
I was 25 when the Lord brought me into a very special and large reformed church family. I had only a fleeting and shallow faith before then (though I believe it was a kernel of faith).
I am still at war with the world, the flesh, and the devil but joy and peace abound more and more each day.
|How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?||
Once saved, always saved. It is a vital defense against the devil’s accusations.
|Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?||
Every morning I’ll read an epistle or passage. Occasionally I’ll study a doctrine or particular issue (assurance of salvation is one I need to return to again and again).
I’m a strong believer that scripture study should edify … not serve as a rote guilt relief mechanism.
|Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?||
Daniel. He balanced the secular and the sacred. He didn’t crumble under the tension between his faith and his work. He worked out his faith and served God mightily in the midst of seemingly impossible circumstances.
|Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?||
Yes. I trust the sovereignty and goodness of God.
I do think about the joy of having a spouse to love and invest in spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally.
However, I know there is joy and peace in God’s plan. Like all idolatry, romantic idolatry offers only offers cheap and fleeting distraction.
|What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?||
Hospitable (I find the new person and talk to them)
Intelligent (always reading, researching, and testing)

Jesus / Salvation / The Restoration of All Things

Beyond that… curiosity, sense of humor, and a healthy lifestyle.
