Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?

I have five siblings, but only one blood-related sibling. My father and mother divorced when I was in the fifth grade. I am very close with both of them and love them both dearly. Except for my blood-related brother all of my siblings as well as my mother and father are unbelievers. They say they believe in God but they do not believe in the God of the Bible. How do I feel about relocating? I would not be okay with moving seeing as I am connected with quite a few of brothers and sisters that I have known for a while and love dearly. However, with the aircraft dispatcher hiring process I may have to move away for a job.

How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?

23 I would say around October or November of 2019. I am one of the many people that went to the altar at the end of the services and said “the prayer” when I was younger and got baptized. After I said the prayer and was baptized I went into the world and loved the world and claimed to be a Christian (1 John 2:15-17.) I lived like a child of wrath. So had the Lord took me anywhere from the time I said the prayer to a few months ago I would’ve been sentenced to hell. Now, God in His mercy has opened my eyes to see the wonder of the Savior Jesus Christ. Thank God for His mercy and grace. I enjoy and find it a great pleasure to tell people of the gospel that saved me.

How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?

My eyes were opened to the depravity of myself and deadness of myself and was convicted of my sins. I was dead in my trespasses and sins, following the prince of the power of the air. And God being rich in mercy because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ Ephesians 2:4-5. Through all of my sin and disobedience He made me alive. Without His grace and patience I’d still be dead.

Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?

Yes, except when my dog (Kassidy) is being loud LOL. Everyday for the last 4 or so months I have read my Bible with a few rarely missed days. I like to watch/listen to sermons by my favorite pastors: Paul Washer, John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, Voddie Baucham, John Piper, and Alistair Begg.

Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?

Other than the Son of God Jesus Christ it would have to be Paul without a doubt. He shows throughout his letters and epistles his ability to persevere through various trials and tribulations.

Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?

Absolutely not. I think Paul himself makes it very clear. I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another 1 Corinthians 7:7. There’s the gift of singleness and the gift of marriage. And Paul goes on, To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. 1 Corithians 7:8-9

What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?

Hilarious. Caring. Bold. Loving.

What are three things you are most thankful for?

The Grace of God. I am thankful for the desires that God the Holy Spirit has given me to read the Word. And am thankful for the brothers and sisters in Christ that are in my life.

Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?

A sense of humor is a must. A drive to strive for holiness and seeking Christ through the Bible as well as prayer. Caring individual that loves to be there for others. Likes to be active and healthy. Loves little image bearers of God.

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?

Probably my church elders I have learned quite a bit of what I know from them. They have been there for me through my walk with Christ so far.

What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?

This an ironic question seeing as my last relationship I wasn’t even saved so there was a bunch of sin involved. More than likely if we had gone about it the way God has so plainly laid out for us we would’ve married. But we live we learn we get convicted and we repent and trust in Christ.

How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?

I’ve been on my own for a little more than 4 years. I didn’t really have a way to cope with the desire to be married until I was saved now that my eyes have been opened I depend on Christ and look toward Him. I also involve myself quite a bit in fellowship and discipleship with other believers.

Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?

Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25]

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

What type of work do/did you do?

I worked for Terminix, and some other restaurants.

How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?

I did not enjoy it but did learn a lot of adult type responsibilities from them.

Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?

My ultimate life-long goal is to be married and grow in Christ and walk in righteousness with my wife. Others would be to travel and see creation and would like to have the chance to grow my children in Christ.

Where were you born and where have you traveled?

Lake Charles, Louisiana. I have traveled to at least 20 different states.

How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?

I like to workout and go share the gospel.
