  • Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:
I am very independent and could practically live anywhere if God led.
  • How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:
I was saved as a young child and was raised on the mission field for sixteen years as the daughter of missionaries. My father is now a pastor out of Master's Seminary and I'm very involved at our church, helping out with youth group and spending time doing Bible Studies with other young people. faith is the reason I'm alive. I've had Lyme Disease for almost a decade, and am so grateful that my health has gotten much better the past few years. However, during that time of being so sick I was bedridden, and the transitions of having been raised in another culture, my faith in Christ was what grounded me. On many days Jesus was my only lifeline through pain and uncertainty, and He showed me that even when the world may have felt dark and my health may have been difficult, He was still my hope and my strength. I want to use my life, and my words, to bring Him glory and encourage others who may be walking through their own shadows.
  • How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:
Having a high view of God and the knowledge that He is sovereign and working all things out for my ultimate good is one of the threads that has carried me through so many difficult times. If God is not good, and if God is not powerful enough to work through my pain, then what is the purpose of life? What hope do we truly have? That said, I am not certain where I stand on all the aspects of TULIP, but ultimately I think that the Gospel (by grace, through faith, not by works) is the most vital doctrine.
  • Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:
I do! I usually read a Psalm or Proverb, and have been recently going through 1 John. I've also been reading "If God Is Good" by Randy Alcorn with some dear friends in a study group I help lead (in addition to another Church Bible study).
  • Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:
My value is not found in needing someone else to be happy or complete, of course. My value is found in the Lord and in the gifts and dreams He's given me. However, I would love to someday find someone to pursue life and leave an impact on the world with. Someone to exist and pour into in the quiet moments, and someone to stand by my side, a fellow soldier, in the more difficult times and wherever God leads.
  • What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:
(I just asked my two best friends and they said...) Passionate Eloquent Encouraging Adventurous
  • What are three things you are most thankful for?:
A Savior whose strength fills in my weakness; the incredible privilege of using my words and writing books that can impact people; two best friends that may be long distance, but are a huge support.
  • Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:
My two best friends, RJ and Bethany, have been the most influential. They are both very Godly women in the faith who manage their homes and families with dignity and intentionality and strive to selflessly love the people around them. Seeing the way they work toward Godliness inspires me daily.
  • What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?:
I have never been in a relationship.
  • Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:
Isaiah 40:31 "Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, 'No, you move'." -- Peggy Carter

I work full time in the publishing industry as an author and author coach. (My latest book is called Dust and it's on Amazon.)
  • How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:
I have been working in the publishing industry since I was seventeen years old. I did not attend college and instead worked my way toward a full-time position as an author and coach. In addition to my skill as a novelist, I also have a background in marketing and teaching.
  • Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:
