Single - Never Married
Arizona State University
Level of education:
Actor; Courier Driver
Amazon; Various acting companies
My ideal place to live:
On the coast
My view on smoking:
I am a non-smoker
My view on drinking:
I don't drink, but don't mind others drinking in moderation
On the subject of children:
I would like to have children one day
Tell us about your family. How do you feel about relocating?:
My family lives in nearby Arizona. I'm open to relocating, but we can talk about it.
How old were you when you were drawn to Christ and how is your Christian walk these days?:
I was 24 when I was drawn to Christ. These days, my walk has plateaued a bit, to be honest. While I'm still steeped in my daily spiritual disciplines, my good desires and ambitions, as well as career-related moves have affected my walk but I'm gradually getting back on track. Don't worry, I haven't gone off the deep end. Just a dry spell that I'm exiting. Christ remains beautiful through the drought.
How have the Doctrines of Grace changed or affected your life?:
They have given me confidence that before my parents ever met, God elected me and chose me for good works (Eph. 2:10). My assurance of salvation also offers a huge boost of relaxed confidence in God's preserving power. At the same time, the Doctrines of Grace keep me humble, knowing I'm an utterly lost and depraved sinner who rightfully deserves God's wrath.
Do you have a "Quiet Time?" What are you studying?:
I have my quiet time most mornings. I am currently wrapping up Deuteronomy. It's one of my favorite books in the Bible.
Who is your favorite Biblical Character and why?:
Apart from Christ, it's honestly tough, as I greatly admire many characters from both Testaments. Nehemiah would probably be the one, due to his zeal and passion for Israel. I'm often like him in being zealously passionate for my beliefs. I see myself in him due to my fervent Christian activism with an end goal of improving the United States and the world, not unlike Nehemiah's ardent devotion to the Jewish language, customs, and the rebuilding of the wall.
Are you content being single? Why? If not, why?:
It's a struggle. I have been content for many years, but since I'm approaching 40, it definitely can be hard. I've bounced between contentment and discontentment, with the latter having a slight edge. This is due to my age as mentioned, and I have other reasons for believing now is the ideal time to seek a companion.
What are four qualities your friends would attribute to you?:
What are three things you are most thankful for?:
Describe the character and personality traits you enjoy in another person? What are yours?:
I enjoy a desire to dramatically improve the world through Christian advocacy/activism. In other words, courage. True biblical courage. The type that realizes life is but a vapor (James 4:14), and wants to change things for Christ's renown, and humanity's benefit.
I also highly value honesty.
A silly sense of humor is greatly desired too.
Being affectionate, attractive, secure, gracious and feminine would be nice as well.
The facts that I'm gentle, polite, personable and radiant are often my most fanimorous traits.
The three traits EVERY single woman who has genuinely cared about me have in common: sensitive, honest, and definitely attracted to men.
Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:
Hands down my late aunt. She passed away four years ago and if not for her, I won't be on this site, if I were still alive. Very godly woman who changed my life.
What contributed to your previous relationship/marriage ending?:
Never had an official relationship for a few different reasons, my faith being one big one.
How long have you been on your own since and what did you to do get through it?:
Again, no official relationships, but last unofficial one ended about 13 years ago. I wasn't a believer then, and Christ easily helped me get through it.
Favorite lines from movies, poems, songs, hymns or Scripture you would like to tell us about?:
2 Corinthians 5:21: For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God - my favorite verse.
Ephesians 2:1-10: And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body[a] and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But[b] God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
- my favorite passage/chapter
"Who can argue with the people that God chooses?
Israel and not Egypt, Peter and not Judas
Humanly speaking, it should have been Saul and not David
The inheritance should have been Esau's and not Jacob's
The truth it speaks brightly so you can see rightly
A huge, mighty God who chooses the least likely"
- "Election," by Shai Linne. As a Christian activist who has been seen as an unlikely pick by God, I 100% see God's amazing truth in this rap verse. Song made me weep once.
"His killa walked up on him rollin' and looked him in the eye
He said "aren't you gonna beg? " he said NO...
I signed up to die
Death don't have a hold on me
So death don't put no fear in me
I don't think that you hearin' me
I signed up to die
When I lay down on that bed
I'm gon' open up my eyes
And my Lord gon' be there"
- "I Signed Up to Die" by Thi'sl
Again, I'm a Christian activist ready to give it my all to make the world a more godly and just place.
What type of work do/did you do?:
Currently beginning my journey in the acting world. God has blessed me with much eloquence, passion and charm, so acting is the natural way to use those gifts. While my acting career gets set up, I currently do the digital equivalent of waiting tables: app-based jobs like Amazon delivery.
I've previously been a math teacher.
How long have you been/were you in that line of work? Do/you enjoy it?:
Only been acting for two years. Yes, really enjoy it, though trying to find my niche.
Do you have any life-long goals? What are they?:
To make the world as closely congruent as possible to the one Adam and Eve knew prior to Genesis 3. I aim to achieve this through my acting, Christian activism, and connecting with like-minded folks.
Personally, I want to get my pilots' licenses, travel to all seven continents, and make disciples.
Where were you born and where have you traveled?:
Born in Nigeria. Been to the UK, Mexico, Canada (schooled there for over a year), the Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Sweden and Ireland, the last five all occurring late 2019. Loved Sweden, the Czech Republic and Ireland and hope to return very soon. Also traveled to 32 US states.
How do you enjoy your leisure time? What do you do for recreation?:
I enjoy reading, surfing the web, learning, watching TV, chatting with neighbors and family, and astronomy. I hope to get my pilot's license one day and fly airplanes and helicopters wherever I wish.
Is there anything that the questionnaire didn’t cover?:
I'll add later.
I'm an interesting, unique sinner saved by grace. I have many dreams and aspirations, and I'm happy to be slowly achieving some this year. God has given me much power, and I hope I'm wielding it well to his glory.
God used sleep and concentration difficulties to save me in 2007. I still have those issues but it's getting brighter.
Several: God, marriage, Christian activism, music, technology, aviation, travel and tourism, space tourism, astronomy.
