  • Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and how?:
Mr. Phil Keaggy, a godly musician, has taught me much through his music and by getting to meet him a few times and speak with him. After graduating homeschool I was wondering what to do next, and Jesus led me to listen to an album of Phil Keaggy's entitled The Master and The Musician. It was an anniversary edition of the album, complete with an audio commentary. I listened to it over and over, and wondered if I could play guitar by improvising like Mr. Keaggy. So, I picked up the guitar my Father and Mother had given me when I was ten. Long story short, that was how I began to really play guitar and it led up to teaching children guitar and piano. I am so thankful for the inspiration of Mr. Phil Keaggy, how he shares Jesus through his music. I have had the great joy to tell him at one of his concerts that I was inspired through listening to him to play guitar. That in itself was a miracle that my family and I were able to speak with him, let alone be able to attend the concert. God is so good!
