What’s a random thing you know or a weird thing about yourself? But you have to start by saying, “fun fact…” 😉
-
Fun fact: I’m a geek: Medieval, Celtic, Tolkien, astronomy, and history.
-
Have you ever gone to a historical ball? I did back in high school and I went as a medieval lady. It was so much fun!

-
I have a background in watching too many Robin Williams and Jim Carey movies as a kid…so that inspired me to have a lot of different character voices and accents.
-
Well now I know how we’re starting our next Zoom meeting. 🤣🤣🤣

Hmm, I think Jeremy is on to something with the childhood quirks… So how about this?…
Fun fact about myself: In kindergarten, I had aspirations of becoming a cartoonist. And an actor. And a pop singer (like Sting). And a big-game hunter. Simultaneously, in fact, to the point that I created my own “business cards” listing those occupations. Look where I am now, and you’ll see that I’m really going places…

Fun fact: I think Dan Dee toys are hilarious! I have a lobster.
-
-
I am sorry about that. Dan Dee is a brand of toys. Some of just stuffed animals or sometimes the toys play music and are animated. My stuffed lobster played a song and the lips and head would move to the words and tune. The lobster doesn’t have a name though. It’s a goofy thing!

So, I have never been able to spell. I was really embarrassed about it when I was younger. As a way to cover it up, I would write with really frilly cursive so that it looked like I was smart. Nobody is able to read my handwriting, and I get compliments on my cursive all the time!
-
That’s funny — as a kid I was pretty good at spelling, but my cursive was absolutely horrible (and remains so to this very day!).
-
I still would rather have the good spelling but to each his own.

Fun fact! I have a leopard gecko!! He is a fun little pet. Never thought I would have a reptile but he is cool.
-
Fun fact: I read the most books of anyone in fourth grade and won the Ram Reader contest, and the prizes I received were: a Larry Bird signed basketball, a limo ride, lunch with the Paoli high school basketball team, a T-shirt, and I can’t remember if there was more. But it was fun!
Fun fact: I am a co-illustrator in the Farmer Herman and the Flooding Barn.
-
Here’s a link to Farmer Herman and the Flooding Barn: https://www.christianbook.com/farmer-herman-flooding-people-working-together/jason-weber/9781424553181/pd/553181?product_redirect=1&search_term=Farmer%20h&Ntt=553181&item_code=WW&ps_exit=PRODUCT&Ntk=keywords&event=ESRCP
I drew the rubber ducky inner tube, and there were 300 co-illustrators.

<div>I was an extra in this movie—-> We Were Soldiers, with Mel Gibson. (2002)
</div><div>Sadly, I ended up in a deleted scene, as Randall Wallace was made to cut 4 hours from his 6 hours long movie. I know. bummer, but at least I enjoyed the experience and met some big actors. However, it is in the DVD, under deleted scenes.
You can see me sitting on my helmet leaning on my M-16 gun, and then later walking into formation putting on my helmet. Enjoy!
