Christian singles looking to date seriously with the goal of connecting with a potential spouse
will often opt for a Christian singles dating site. They’ll search for “Christian Singles,” Christian
Dating,” “Christian Matchmaking” or some other search terms looking to find sites that caters to
Unfortunately, that doesn’t always connect them with the right kind of people.
Dating sites are a business. They need to make a profit. They do that by attracting members (as
many as possible), providing members with features to keep them paying and keeping paying
members from cancelling. Sure they work to connect people with potential mates or else they
would have no value, but please remember that Christian singles finding a match means they lose
Now many of these businesses are on the up and up. They aren’t there to scam you and keep you
as a paying customer forever. They do need a good volume of customers to grow. So they will go
after all Christian singles in hope of getting the sales they need to stay in business.
What does that mean? It means you have people on a Christian site that are Evangelical,
Catholic, Methodist, Adventist, Baptist, Mormon and all the denominations and non-
denominations (See how I did that last one.). Any practicing Christian knows that even this small
list of Christians groups includes people that have very different beliefs. The idea of matching up
with some Christians from across these groups isn’t something many of us want. That will
literally feel unequally yoked from the start even though all are under the Christian umbrella.
Years back, I was a single guy. I struggled to meet Reformed Christians with beliefs like mine to
date. I had gone through the list of all the single ladies at our church. I would attend every
possible event outside our church to where I could meet someone.
It wasn’t working.
This was a while back when dating sites were just getting started. And though I’ve never been
technical, I took the jump. I hired a techie to launch my first Reformed Christian single dating
website that I wanted catering to the needs of people like me. I wanted people that looked at their
faith walk like I did.
That led to the launch of SovereignChristianSingles.com and was off promoting it to people I
through would want to join me.
The site worked. It know that because I found my lady through my site. The lady I married had
widowed with kids which made us an instant family right away. It’s been a long while and we
are happily married. The site also worked to matchmake several of our children with their
Now the site isn’t for everyone. It’s for people with Reformed Christian beliefs. We ask people
to agree to a Doctrinal Statement (https://sovereigngracesingles.com/doctrinal-statement/). We
attract a group of people that are like minded in their Christian beliefs and are all looking to
connect with fellow believers.
The site is open to people from all over the world. Most of us are English speakers, though the
site allows members of different languages to participate. Of course, we’ve had people in the US
connect with other Americans. We’ve had US and Europeans meet and marry. Then we’ve seen
people from China and South Africa meet and marry. It’s so exciting to be at the center of all this
serving people with what was once a pipedream and is now a business I run as retired first
responder. My wife will soon retire from her travel job and this is something we’ll continue
You can join us for a 7-day free trial if you like at no cost to you in any way. You can then
